Melbourne and Sydney
Before I went to Melbourne I went to the park and I jumped off a 2m high wall and hurt my foot so now I can’t walk very well so my mum and dad and my sister has to give me piggybacks everywhere, I like being carried but my foot still hurts
My sister and my dad went to drop the car off at the aiport but they missed a turn so they have to do a U’y and then it went back to the road. My mum and me went to a park, it wasnt great but it was ok.
We went back to our apartment and watched Netflix on the TV , we watched Cat in the Hat, it was really funny I’ll tell you what it was about – it was about and two children, one was good one was bad and then the naughty, funny, talking, big cat came along in the cupboard and played with them all day. I slept on the couch bed it was comfy.
We went to an art gallery on a tram. My favourite exhibit was the last room where you got to build lots of things with woggles, ropes, shuttlecocks, loads of building blocks, my favourite was the building blocks because I built a spiral tower but a Chinese baby knocked it over.
I wish, I really wish this key board was in alphabetical order it would help me a lot!
We went to a special cafe, the food wasn’t very nice but it was okay, the money we paid – we could play anything we wanted – helped homeless people, some homeless people work in the cafe, our $40 helped to pay for other people’s food who couldn’t afford their own.
We went up a Skydeck at 88 floors high and we posted 11 postcards to our classes and friends and families from a letterbox, the highest one in the world
We then went to Sydney in an aeroplane, it took 1 1/2 hours but it felt like two minutes. We’re staying in Merry, Zack and Tess’ house. I liked Tess. She was 13 and she played tig and hide and seek with me.we went to Narrabeen Lake, we played with Tess’ canoe and paddle board.
We went to our cousin Pamela and Sven’s house where I slept with mummy and Henna and daddy slept on the floor. The next day we went on a Easter egg hunt and I found 9 eggs. And Sven ate Henna’s chocolate bunny!

Arlo and Henna – we all really enjoy reading all about your adventures. Sounds like you’ve had a run of bad luck…your poorly foot, the not-so-nice food at the homeless cafe, and the Chinese baby!! Your cousins are both home from University for Easter and it’s great. Did you see the Liverpool score? Lots of glum faces in our house!!
Love from Aunty Gillian, Uncle Steve, Jess, Anna xx
