Anyone who knows Arlo even a tinsy bit will know he’s dog mad! If he could he would stop and say hello, pet/ stroke every dog he comes across. Our trip has gifted him with a multitude of meetings with a boy’s best friend. The plan is to get a dog of our own when we get back home. With Arlo around, they will never be lonely, bored, short of cuddles, or without a playmate! From the scabby street dogs of Sri Lanka to the pampered pooches of Singapore, the as we know them, domestic pets of Australia, to the happy, well fed street dogs of Chile, particularly in Valparaiso and San Pedro de Atacama. He loved them all! The only problem we have now is how to narrow down which ones we’ll rehome. The trips to the dogs home could easily end with us wanting to bring them all home!
