I was just 7, I’m not that old but I have got bigger and more confident and I am missing you all.

Should I tell you what I got for my birthday? I got two bats and a ball but the bats are sticky so it sticks to the bat, a boomerang, a big wave ball, a new set of headphones 🎧 and a great big massive remote control car and it goes 56 miles per hour and it is half a meter long and it is waiting for me back home in Chinley. I’m really looking forward to playing with it when I get home of course.

I celebrated it with my friends called Paula, Marcus, Sophia, Jeff , Ximena, Damian, Mummy, Henna and Daddy. Nana San (Paula) made a very very yummy chocolate cake and I got some birthday cards from my friends in England and some presents, one of the presents was from my best mate Elliott and he sent me a big pack of Jammie Dodger biscuits which I shared with everyone although they are my favourite biscuits and I could’ve had them all to myself. My other best mate called Spencer, asked everyone in my class to sign a birthday card for me and it felt really special. Spencer is a really great mate to have around you!

I was in LA near Hollywood in America for my birthday. The place that we stayed in was really nice. It was Nana San’s home. Nana San is Elliot’s grandma. We also climbed to the Hollywood sign in the blazing sun. we stopped wherever there was shade. But there wasn’t much shade on the whole walk. It was about was 4 miles up and 4 miles down. It was really hot! So we took lots of breaks and there were cold drinks for sale at the Hollywood sign. These helped us climb down by cooling us down and giving us energy. Then we went to the Griffiths Observatory and we looked through the telescope I looked at a big ball dinging skittles down and we watched a 30minute film. The film was brilliant! It was all about how small the earth is in the universe and how even smaller we are. It was in a big dome on the ceiling and we laid back in comfy chairs and a man told us all about it. When it had finished we walked outside and you could see the whole city lit up. it was amazing!We also went to Disneyland as a treat for my birthday. My auntie Gillian gave us lots and lots of money so we could buy the tickets. We went on all sorts of rides. Two of my favourite rides were Splash Mountain and the Pirates of the Caribbean. They were scary! I like Thunder Mountain, Autopia, which is racing cars. I got to drive the car.

In Lake Havasu, for dinner we only had a massive ice cream for my birthday tea.
