I was amazed at how clean the Singapore airport was, and we haven’t even got started yet, we have only just got off the plane and we were carrying all of our 4 bags because our other four bags where in the luggage space at the bottom of the aeroplane . Once we got off the aeroplane we kind of strutted into the airport, we went to the toilet, Arlo took a very long time on the toilet having a poo.

We ordered a taxi service at least 9 o’clock at night we stuffed all of our bags into the back of the taxi and the rest of them went at the bottom of our feet .

We got out the taxi it was at least 9:15 at night so we tried to find Hong Kong Street number 38 and it was called Beds and Dreams and let me tell you it was a brilliant bed because they were bunk beds (I love bunk beds) we dragged all of the heavy luggage up three sets of stairs and actually got the key to our room and once we got in our room we flopped down on the beds, we were so tired. Once I had read for a bit I went to sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

It was 10:30am when we woke up and breakfast only serve till 10:30 luckily when we got down that we didn’t need to apologise because lots of people were still having a breakfast, for breakfast I had three bowls of cornflakes and four pieces of toast I know that sounds a lot but I was really hungry so I ate quite a lot.

It’s our first day in Singapore so daddy had a lot of stuff planned for us, we went to Gardens by the Bay when we got there we looked at the signs and saw that there was water fountains for children, although it said that that it was for children mummy and daddy used it to, when we got to the fountains in gardens by the bay we stripped off and went in our underwear. There was lots of fountains that sprayed water with chlorine in it really stings my eyes my favourite bit about the Fountains was the buckets that tipped on your head you just have to stand under them and wait for the person to go splish splash splosh, when I said under the bucket and I close my eyes that I didn’t get chlorine in my eyes and it was really fun because we played tag me Arlo daddy and mummy didn’t really feel like it because she thought that we were too fast. Then we found a rope walking bridge which me and Arlo insisted on going up, this was lucky because at the top there is a whole new big play area, Arlo was astoundingly brilliant at the monkey bars and didn’t fall off when he reached the end then we went up to the tree house Play area where there were hammocks and rope bridges and spider walls which I thought was a little bit dangerous, we went down the big slide and then carried on our walk down by gardens by the bay.

It is our last time in Singapore airport on this world trip anyway I still think that was really really clean and I quite like to go back to Singapore because there’s so much that we saw in that we didn’t even do because we didn’t have enough time and we didn’t plan it correctly. (Arlo is planning to come to Singapore for his 8th birthday (apparently!) He also wants a petrol powered remote control car) Good luck with getting that past mummy and daddy Arlo !
