The journey from Unawatuna to Ella

The journey from Unawatuna to Ella

After we had visited the school, we were all very tired when we got on the bus it was very jerky and I accidentally fell on a child’s  lap when I was trying to get off!

I like all the beaches here,  some of them are very different to others, on Unawatuna beach we went on a JetSki that was very bumpy because mummy was driving, Arlo didn’t like it that much because he thought that we are going to fall off, and guess what we did fall off, because mummy turned the corner to sharply when we were heading back. Next time we go on a JetSki I would like to go with mummy because it was super fun when  we were going fast but somebody else I know (Arlo)doesn’t like it that much, it was so fun when we raced across the waves and a big crashing  wave hit us and we jumped up into the air on the JetSki. Also talking about beaches, when we went to Dallawella beach we saw lots and lots of turtles in fact we saw three turtles it was  absolutely amazing, they were the size of a normal double bed I mean come on how big do turtles get? When we called over for daddy to come and take a picture on the Go pro the turtles swam quickly  away and he was too late.

It was our last night in Unawatuna , So Darkasha’s mum made us  a special tea it was absolutely delicious ,  then the next morning we had to get up at 5 AM in the morning because we were moving from Unawatuna to Ella on the way there we stopped at a Safari Park it was awesome we saw loads of elephants and even in Eagle and peacocks a mongoose was there to the park with gigantic  it fitted in all of the wild animals we also saw a mongoose and 5 crocodiles(4 in my case,I would say that my eyesight isn’ very good but mummy disagrees with me ) when we were on the safari trip we ate some cheese sandwiches the  driver on the Jeep looked way younger than he actually was, Once we got back in the van with all of are bags ( 8 actually 4 suitcases and 4 back packs ) we set off again to go and find the beautiful Ravana falls , Some people were even having a shower in the waterfall I was a little bit scared to go on the big rock so I followed daddy down and  instead we  got a really good view of the waterfall.
Once we got into Ella, we had to find our apartment/bedroom type of staying guesthouse. It was really really confusing when we were trying to get to Rockside inn which is another word for apartment/bedroom type of staying guesthouse. The guy who was taking us from Unawatuna to Ella got tired of taking us  along a really windy narrow road.  Just as we were about to give up hope a tuck tuck arrived around the corner and volunteered to take are luggage and me and Arlo up to Rockside inn .

On our third day now and we were climbing little Adams Peak , it was quite a tough climb but we made it there in the end near the end/stop of the walk there was a really scrambling bit but you had to climb up and down to get to the next hill . The next day we climbed Ella rock, in the morning I actually thought that we were climbing the face of a really flat rock going vertically up words  but no we weren’t, we climbed through the trees to get the viewing point It took at least three hours we climbed 9 1/2 miles I think.  Talking about veiws  from our apartment/guesthouse/Rockside in right outside our bedroom window it was is a beautiful view and I mean beautiful, well I think that’s me done for today so bye for now hope you enjoyed my blog post.
